A long term residency program, that is currently under development, and will include personalized support services to survivors of sexual and intimate partner/domestic violence, stalking and teen dating violence, including survivor’s dependents and pets. Transitional housing is provided after crisis or emergency shelter. Transitional housing is designed as a bridge to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Residents have the opportunity to continue to work their way to economic self-sufficiency and embrace their new lives free of violence
Not all survivors need to or want to leave their homes. The goal of this program is to support victims/ survivors, and their loved ones, to maintain their current housing. This program is a community-based domestic and sexual abuse advocacy support program that focuses on a victim/survivors’ self-identified needs and involves meeting victim/survivors in safe (physical and/or virtual) locations of their choice.
